What does it take to be a dancer?

A dancer is a performing artist who uses movement to convey stories and ideas. He or she usually has expertise in a particular type of dance including jazz, ballet, modern dance, ballroom or tap, but some excel in more than one of these areas. It does take a lot of training to be a dancer to know how do dance away your feelings and emotions. Dance is tense! Dance is art.

My Model Ioanna Natsi

Tell me every terrible thing you ever did, and let me love you anyway !

You wanted to see the world. And yet, all I want is to see you.

I don’t think you see
how beautiful you are to me.

Your face was the light
that chased away the shadows,
every nightmare, every fear.

I hate early mornings.
But I love waking up with you.

I ache for you.

GBM really enjoys sharing the work of artists and spread the word about their artwork. Photography used to be part of the folklore that the camera would capture the soul of those appearing on the picture…what do you think?

Who Is Jo Vallianatou?

Jo Vallianatou is best known for her pensively lit model photography. Her photos dance the line between the macabre and the sublime: a nod to her love of Victorian memento mori, she venerates both with equal gusto.
